Equity Accumulation Opportunities
Built By DAO members accumulate equity value credits during their participation. These credits are applied toward purchasing a home within the Built By DAO network, providing a clear and accessible pathway to homeownership.
How It Works Members earn credits over their engagement term, creating financial progress toward ownership. At the end of their term, credits can be redeemed for home purchases within the network.
If No Homes Are Available Extended participation allows members to remain in the program until suitable properties are available. Alternatively, equity credits can be transferred to future properties or reinvested into DAO-aligned initiatives, ensuring all members benefit from their contributions.
Supportive Commercial Spaces
Built By DAO remains focused on housing, but limited commercial spaces are included in select developments to enhance community resources and opportunities.
Purpose of Commercial Spaces Commercial spaces provide essential services and foster entrepreneurial ventures that align with the DAO’s mission. These spaces are designed to support community needs rather than commercial real estate goals.
Eligibility for Entrepreneurs Groups of at least three DAO members with established reputations can apply to utilize or co-own pooled commercial spaces. These ventures allow members to generate equity while supporting community development.
Examples of Use Co-working spaces, retail storefronts, and community hubs are examples of how these commercial spaces can enhance the vitality of Built By DAO communities.
