Role Summary
The Construction Project Manager leads on-site operations for Built By DAO’s construction projects, ensuring that activities are executed efficiently, safely, and within established timelines and budgets. This role involves coordinating teams, monitoring progress, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The Construction Project Manager is critical to the successful delivery of projects that align with organizational goals for quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Task Group 1: On-Site Operations Management
Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards.
Coordinate with Site Supervisors, contractors, and tradespeople to align tasks and resolve on-site issues.
Ensure that all work adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Task Group 2: Budgeting and Resource Allocation
Monitor project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, to ensure financial control.
Approve and track expenditures, flagging potential cost overruns and suggesting corrective actions.
Allocate resources effectively to prevent delays and optimize project efficiency.
Task Group 3: Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports for leadership, partners, and clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving stakeholder inquiries and concerns.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Expertise in construction management processes and tools.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills for on-site coordination.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or MS Project).
Familiarity with green building practices and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Stakeholder satisfaction ratings for communication and issue resolution.
Key Activities
Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, assigning tasks and deadlines to teams.

Summary: The Assistant Construction Project Manager supports the Construction Project Manager in managing on-site operations, tracking budgets, and maintaining project schedules. Assist with scheduling and task coordination for on-site activities.
Track project progress and report updates to the Construction Project Manager.
