Role Summary
The Property Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of Built By DAO’s properties, ensuring smooth functioning and a positive living experience for residents. This role manages maintenance schedules, tenant relations, and vendor partnerships while monitoring occupancy rates and property budgets. The Property Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the property’s value and aligning operations with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Task Group 1: Property Operations
Supervise daily property operations, including security, maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
Monitor building systems to ensure proper functioning and address issues proactively.
Coordinate inspections to maintain compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
Task Group 2: Resident Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints.
Manage the leasing process, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals.
Organize and oversee community events to foster positive resident engagement.
Task Group 3: Maintenance and Repairs
Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Maintain a detailed log of all maintenance requests and completed repairs.
Task Group 4: Financial Management
Track property budgets, expenses, and revenues, ensuring financial targets are met.
Approve vendor invoices and monitor utility costs for efficiency.
Prepare financial reports and operational updates for leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse property operations.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills for tenant and vendor interactions.
Knowledge of property management software and budgeting principles.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with sustainable property practices, including energy efficiency and waste management.
Experience in managing large residential or mixed-use properties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
Certification in property management (e.g., CPM, ARM, RPA) is a plus.
Performance Metrics
Occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction scores.
Timeliness of maintenance requests and repair resolutions.
Budget adherence and cost efficiency in property operations.
Key Activities

Summary: The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager by handling administrative tasks, resident communications, and vendor coordination. This role provides a pathway for growth in property management.
Key Tasks:
Assist with tenant onboarding, lease renewals, and move-out procedures.
Coordinate maintenance requests and track repair progress.
Maintain property files and prepare reports for the Property Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Proficiency with property management software or a willingness to learn.
