Role Summary
The Community Voting Coordinator oversees all aspects of Built By DAO’s voting processes, ensuring they are transparent, accessible, and aligned with organizational policies. This role maintains voting records, manages voting schedules, and communicates outcomes to members. The Community Voting Coordinator plays a key role in fostering trust and participation in decision-making, ensuring that the governance system operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Task Group 1: Voting Process Management
Plan and execute voting processes, ensuring alignment with DAO policies and timelines.
Develop and distribute voting schedules, announcements, and reminders to members.
Ensure voting platforms and tools are functional, secure, and user-friendly.
Task Group 2: Transparency and Communication
Provide clear instructions and updates on voting processes, policies, and outcomes.
Maintain open communication channels to address member questions and concerns about voting.
Collaborate with the Engagement & Communications Manager to promote active participation in governance decisions.
Task Group 3: Records and Reporting
Maintain accurate and secure voting records for audit and reference purposes.
Generate reports on voting participation, outcomes, and trends for the Governance Manager and leadership.
Use data analytics to evaluate and improve member engagement in voting processes.
Task Group 4: Accessibility and Inclusivity
Ensure voting processes are accessible to all members, including those with limited technical proficiency.
Identify and address barriers to participation, implementing solutions to improve accessibility.
Organize workshops or informational sessions to educate members on how to participate in governance.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and integrity in voting processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in governance operations, voting management, or community engagement.
Certification in governance or digital voting systems is a plus.

Timeliness and accuracy of voting schedules and outcome reporting.
Member feedback on the transparency and accessibility of voting processes.

Respond to member inquiries about voting processes and provide technical support.
