Role Summary
The Site Supervisor oversees daily activities on construction sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project plans. As the primary on-site point of contact, this role manages teams, coordinates workflows, and enforces safety protocols. The Site Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the pace and quality of construction activities, resolving on-site issues, and communicating progress to the Construction Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Task Group 1: On-Site Coordination
Assign daily tasks to construction teams and subcontractors based on the project schedule.
Monitor work progress to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
Task Group 2: Team Management
Lead site personnel, providing clear instructions and resolving disputes or challenges.
Evaluate team performance and ensure workers follow established workflows.
Collaborate with tradespeople and contractors to address project needs effectively.
Task Group 3: Safety and Compliance
Enforce safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring all team members comply with regulations.
Conduct daily safety briefings and address any on-site hazards.
Work with the Site Safety Officer to document and address any safety violations.
Task Group 4: Communication and Reporting
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for contractors, tradespeople, and other stakeholders.
Report site updates, challenges, and progress to the Construction Project Manager regularly.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and completed tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills

Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in site supervision or construction management.
