Guilds
Guilds are where your skills come to life. They’re not departments or job titles—they’re communities of practice, organized by what you know how to do and how you contribute to the DAO’s work.
Unlike divisions (which focus on what we build), guilds focus on how we build—giving Builders a space to sharpen their craft, earn recognition, and move across projects without losing momentum.
What Guilds Do
Every guild is responsible for:
Skill development and mentorship
Badge verification and contribution reviews
Proposing initiatives and tools to improve their craft
Onboarding Seekers and Apprentices
Coordinating cross-division projects based on expertise
Your DAO Rank still applies within your guild. Guilds don't override ranks—they bring Builders with shared skillsets together across divisions.
The 9 Core Guilds
Each guild has a unique token ID range, starting with its base number. Specialist badges and rotating roles are organized within each guild.

Specialist Badges
Each guild includes skill-based badges that Builders can earn by completing tasks, receiving mentorship, or being endorsed by higher ranks. These badges help:
Assign tasks to qualified people
Show verified expertise in governance
Open up eligibility for rank progression or leadership

Badges are soulbound NFTs—they stay with you and reflect what you’ve actually done.
Rotating Guild Roles
Every guild includes seasonal roles that Builders can take on to lead, guide, or improve their community. These roles are also issued as NFTs and rotate every 3 months.

Scouts talent and invites new contributors
You can hold one or more roles depending on your rank, your guild’s needs, and your past contributions.
How Guilds Interact with Divisions
You don’t work in your guild—you work through it.
For example:
A Full-Stack Developer in the Software Guild might be contributing to the Property Division by building a renter dashboard.
A Permaculture Planner in the Sustainability Guild might work with the Construction Division to guide green infrastructure.
A DAO Educator in the Education Guild might lead onboarding calls for new members in the Governance Division.
Guilds give you a way to build skills, gain recognition, and contribute across DAO initiatives while staying grounded in your discipline.
Advancing Through the Guild System
Guilds play a major role in:
Rank advancement (through peer verification and reviewer endorsements)
Badge issuance (marking new skill acquisitions)
Mentorship loops (every advanced Builder supports newer ones)
Proposal formation (guilds can collectively recommend tooling or improvements)
When you contribute consistently and build mastery, your guild notices—and your growth gets rewarded across the DAO.
