Guilds & Merit-Based NFTs
Beyond working groups, Builders can level up their participation by joining specialized Guilds. Guilds are structured communities of expertise, where members with shared skills and interests come together to develop best practices, innovate within their fields, and mentor new contributors.
Guilds are not just social or organizational structures—they carry governance weight. Each guild issues NFTs of Merit, which serve as:
Proof of expertise – Displaying your skills, contributions, and leadership within your domain.
Voting Power Enhancements – Governance proposals related to a guild’s focus area give greater weight to votes from guild members, ensuring that those with relevant expertise have a stronger say in decisions.
Reputation & Recognition – Members can showcase their Guild NFTs as part of their on-chain identity within Built By DAO.
