Role Summary
The Regional Governance Manager tailors governance strategies to address the unique needs and regulations of specific regions. This role oversees region-specific governance activities, resolves localized issues, and coordinates with local stakeholders to ensure compliance with regional laws and policies. The Regional Governance Manager bridges the gap between centralized governance strategies and local requirements, ensuring smooth and effective governance operations across diverse regions.
Key Responsibilities
Task Group 1: Regional Governance Strategy
Adapt Built By DAO’s governance policies and processes to align with regional legal and regulatory frameworks.
Develop region-specific governance plans that address local needs and stakeholder priorities.
Monitor regional trends and developments to anticipate and address governance challenges.
Task Group 2: Stakeholder Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, regulators, and partners.
Represent Built By DAO in regional governance forums and discussions.
Facilitate communication between regional stakeholders and the Governance Division.
Task Group 3: Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all governance activities within the region comply with local regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with the Legal & Compliance Officer to address region-specific regulatory challenges.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with regional governance activities.
Task Group 4: Operational Oversight
Supervise the implementation of governance activities, including voting processes and policy enforcement, at the regional level.
Coordinate with the Community Voting Coordinator to manage region-specific voting schedules and participation.
Address and resolve governance issues unique to the region, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
Task Group 5: Reporting and Feedback
Prepare region-specific governance reports for leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
Gather feedback from local stakeholders to inform improvements in regional governance practices.
Share insights and best practices with other Regional Governance Managers to promote consistency and collaboration.
Skills and Qualifications
