# Programs

Foundry programs connect training, material recovery, fabrication, project work, business incubation, and community use. Each program has an accountable owner, location, eligibility, safety requirements, evidence, schedule, and operating terms.

The program families below describe the planned Foundry model. Check a published session for its operating location, dates, instructor, costs or sponsorship, and available places before making arrangements.

## Program families

* safety and site-readiness training;
* deconstruction, salvage, grading, and material logistics;
* trade and fabrication practice;
* construction and rehabilitation project work;
* technology, data, and equipment labs;
* business and cooperative development;
* community workshops and mentorship; and
* professional or external certification preparation.

## Credentials and Contribution EQTBLT

Course completion, attendance, certification, mentorship, or rank progression does not automatically mint EQTBLT. Task-based program work can earn Contribution EQTBLT when it is covered by an approved class and current rate bounds, supported by accepted evidence, performed by an eligible member, submitted through the authorized funded lane, and confirmed on-chain.

Eligible event check-ins and first-month steps use their own source records and reward policies, rather than the task-review path. Attendance or a lesson can count only when that specific program’s conditions apply; an unpaid claim still waits for confirmed settlement. See [Earning EQTBLT](/guides/earning-eqtblt.md).

Programs should publish the applicable employment, contractor, volunteer, tuition, stipend, or other off-chain terms separately. No universal token award or hourly schedule applies.

## Dashboard records

Track enrollment, prerequisites, attendance, evidence, assessment, completion, external verification, expiration, and corrections. If a program also creates qualifying Contribution EQTBLT, show that settlement as a separate pending/confirmed lifecycle with its transaction reference.

See [Training](/contributors/training.md), [Certifications](/contributors/training/certifications.md), and [Earning EQTBLT](/guides/earning-eqtblt.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.builtbydao.com/the-foundry/programs.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
